Mount Rushmore National Monument
I still do not understand how in the heck someone can do a sculpture on this scale. When I got back to the car, I was unpleasantly surprised to discover my GPS was DOA. This is something I had not planned on. I have a Rand McNally U.S. Road Atlas … but I am totally dependent on the GPS. I have all of my stops programmed in. To say I was distraught is to grossly understate my frame of mind. I tried everything I could think of – even hooking it up via USB – still dead.
